Welcome to my blog!

I recently spent a week with my sister, Sara, who just bought a house in Berkeley, after several years of living in San Francisco. I have been going up to spend time with her for a few years, now. Whenever I visit her, I get SO excited about possibilities. There are so many creative people in the Bay Area making their living with their art, and I get so excited about how I can make it work for me. Sara is so supportive of me in many way, and couldn't wait to help me set up my own blog, Willow Beach, as well as an Etsy site that I'm working on. We did so many fun things together this trip, and one of the highlights was taking her motorcycle to the "hippie show" near the Berkeley Campus. Here we are on the bike.

And here we are as younger girls, on a swimming day! Weren't we lovely! I'm the older sister. I gave my father a copy of this picture once and he remarked on how short I was. I AM ON MY KNEES SO WE ARE THE SAME HEIGHT! Oh, Daddy.....
